Having just started renovating their home our customer selected this ‘Cavendish’ door from our bespoke ‘Suffolk Collection’ range.
The Timber doors have been sprayed in Farrow & Ball ‘Pavilion Grey’ & ‘Brassica’ which have then been hand finished on site.
A stunning Mix of full stave European walnut with waterfall profile and River white granite have been used throughout. The granite adds a spectacular finish to the island by incorporating a large curved sweep to intertwine both materials and it will most definitely be a talking point within the space.
Keen for features and details we constructed the drawer units around the AGAs depth to fit perfectly whilst adding in some gorgeous base radius feature ends around each drawer pack before going back to standard depth. All drawers have been constructed using dovetail oak drawer boxes.
Like the rest of the kitchen the larder was also constructed especially for the customer working with their particular requirements as to what components were to be available for storage use. This larder has a slab of Angolan black granite in the bottom for cheese and pastry, oak spice racks for the back of each drawer, adjustable oak shelves and some wicker baskets for veg.
The impressive Mantle is truly beautiful and frames the AGA perfectly. Within the glass wall units are lighting as well as underneath the units. Georgian framed glass wall units have been used either side of the mantle which adds more depth to this already exquisite kitchen.

This bespoke design is composed of two sections. Section one is a run of both tall housing units and base units in Farrow & Ball 'Hague Blue'. A large mirror sited on top of the upstands works beautifully with this large open plan space. Stainless steel plinth sections running beneath the base units provides a sharp contrast.

Section two is a large L-shape peninsula softened with a large curve in Farrow & Ball 'Blackened' mixed with a bow handle for the inside of the peninsula and a flat plate style square handle for the outside of the peninsula. Two different quartz surfaces were used: ‘Technistone Starlight White’ to compliment the ‘Hague Blue’ units on the back wall and ‘Compac Titaneo’ for the peninsula tops.

The design incorporates a downdraft hood which is very discreet without having to disrupt the aesthetics by having a large extractor mounted to the ceiling. All units were hand painted on site following installation in the Farrow & Ball colours to add the finishing touch.
